Breaking Dawn Chapter 1 Comments

Is anyone going to see this? I hope not, really, because I partially only talk to myself most of the time. Haha.

I joined lion_lamb *waves* to read it, and, well, since it seems like a good community I'm going to stick around (at least until I can navigate this site better, maybe, you may have noticed I hardly ever get in here).

Alright... so I'm going to turn critic. Going into too many Twilight criticism threads has got me thinking a lot more now and it's kind of true that I dont quite like the series as much as I used to - that is the writing style and such, not so much the storyline in general. The ideas I like, although there are bits here are there people can usually find reasons for, but I still dont think so. Nothing like conincidence, hm?

Anyway, onto the criticism. Bella's missile-proof car. Physics, anyone? Cars are meant to have crumple zones to protect you from the force of the crash, and if you are in an accident, well, you will still get some injuries anyway, be it minor or major. Whether the car is missile-proof or not, shouldnt really have that much effect on whether you have a car accident - really, think of it this way, bullets may not get through, but smashing into a wall will still kill that car (probably). If you asked me, I'd go with the Volvo, hahaha... which won the safest car award, as it's reinforced cabin is good for protection. Heh. Who ever knew physics class would come in handy? Moving on...

Topic 2: Jacob. Insensitivity warning. If you like Jacob at all, skip this paragraph. So, this may sound not very sympathetic at all, but what is with Jacob. Huh. I know, how would I know? I dont, actually. I mean, I've never experienced this, but I dont feel much empathy with him. Perhaps prejudice is clouding my better judgement. Moving on....

Oh yes, let's take a step back. Edward. He's gone weird.... Over. Next point....

Annoucing to Charlie was funny. I kind of realised he would think that when ... who? Oh, er, Edward said they had some good news. xD; First emoticon on the page. That was hilarious... to me. Edward sounds completely out of century at that point. He seems to be doing what was the custom at the time... Cultures and values! This week of exams is getting to me... Anyway. Refletive of his past perhaps, its a pretty Edwardian thing to do (time period in this sense, not the person...) (Explaining to Renee just sounded too easy there....Good reasons, still sounds too easy though.)

Happy Place... I thought she couldnt visualise Edward (perfection, and such *shrugs*), or does that only apply when he isnt there?

Anyway, that's over.... I guess I finished the chapter, or is that really the whole chapter? In any case, interesting. The quote too...

The prologue is causing slight uneasiness, but I'm thinking it's something to do with Jacob.... *shrugs*

Someone once said 'love is the sister of hate' or that such. I guess it applies both ways - seriously... ._.;
DON'T COMMENT, PLEASE.... T___T;

I personally think that being a vampire is pretty much the same as a human, just with restrictions and things you need to adapt to - like you always need to during the course of life.

To be honest, I dont think vampires are 'monsters' and 'not human' in the first place. After all, to me, humanity just needs emotions, needs to be able to care for people and their feelings, the such. Besides, they were human anyway, just because their body is now 'frozen' doesnt mean they are less 'human'. If I had to say, (and I'll probably get abused for this...) I would say the werewolves are less human than the vampires are, especially as they turn into animals.

Noone's seen it my way so far, it seems?

Having all the time in the world just makes it easier, isnt it? You know you dont have to do something right at the moment because you wont be able to do it later, because now, you CAN postpone, because you have all the time you would ever need. The only difference is the knowledge that now you probably wont ever die, or eat again. (Or have children I guess...) Limitations, but otherwise, the same.
EDIT: I only post this here, because it's an argument I don't want to forget. This is the way I think after all - and I don't usually have an opinion. This is pretty rare. ;D
